Stolen Motorcycle Recovered in 24 Hours
On April 1st, a user alerted us that his beautiful Kawasaki H2 had been stolen overnight. This was no April Fool’s joke. We immediately assisted him through every step with law enforcement.
Our goal? To provide all the necessary information and help him through this stressful time. The GeoRide Adapter, hidden in his H2, allowed us to locate the bike as soon as it left the security zone. The motorcycle was stored in a van that had been fully lined to block GPS/GSM communication, but it didn’t work. The police intervened quickly, and the bike was recovered. The motorcycle alarm on smartphone, GeoRide, is presented as a motorcycle alarm system with gps connected to your smartphone. It works thanks to an application connected to a motorcycle gps alarm that is plugged into your vehicle. This application is available on the usual app stores (Apple Store and Play store) and is completely free. It has been designed to offer a complete service based on the needs that you have as a motorcyclist or driver: locate yourself and your vehicle, reassure your loved ones and feel safe when you ride. It thus offers three main functionalities meeting your needs: GPS tracker, crash detection, and connected anti-theft alarm.
A powerful motorcycle alarm system that guards your vehicle
GeoRide wanted to develop a motorcycle alarm with phone app for all kinds of vehicles to reassure all owners when they park their vehicles on the street, in a public parking lot, or elsewhere. Vehicle thefts are quite common, especially during the summer period, and mostly at night when you sleep. Statistics show that ¾ of the time theft takes place very close to your home, and half of the time it takes place on the street.
A little more than half of the motorcycles are found a few days after the theft, mainly when it is equipped with an alarm system that indicates the position of the vehicle in real-time.
Equipping yourself with a vehicle vibration alarm is not superfluous, far from it. While it does not prevent theft in most cases, it does help the police find the stolen item as quickly as possible.
Insurance companies can give you a discount on the cost of your contract if you have a motorcycle alarm connected to your phone. Take the time to contact different insurers to choose the one that will offer you the most advantageous and appropriate offer.
Motorcycle alarm that alerts your phone
GeoRide, the vehicle alarm that alerts your phone was developed to include key features: crash detection, connected alarm for motorcycles, and real-time GPS. By associating the GPS tracker to a vehicle alarm with a phone app, we are able to offer you functional, responsive and precise features. The UTV alarm system works this way: the GeoRide connected to the UTV is able to geolocate your Side by Side, and detect if someone hits it or moves it when it is locked thanks to the motion alarm for motorcycle.
GeoRide then sends the information to your motorcycle alarm app on your smartphone, which sends it to you via the notification of your choice (call or push notification). From there, either you can go out and check that your vehicle is still here and that it was a false alarm, or you find that there really is an attempted theft and you can immediately call the police.
Lock zones are places where you usually park your motorcycle, ATV or UTV, such as your home, workplace, bar, or supermarket.
Your motorcycle alarm system with GPS will lock these zones once you have entered one of them, and activate the vibration and motion detection of the GeoRide connected to your motorcycle. It also informs you of the disconnection of the power supply of your GeoRide, which will continue to operate thanks to the autonomy of its battery.
The GeoRide UTV and motorcycle alarm and tracker are fully independent of the application. Even if the app is not launched on your phone, you will still receive a notification warning you of a possible theft attempt.
