GeoRide Safety Information

The following information is provided to ensure safe operation of the GeoRide Adapter. Please read it carefully before you start using it!

 

— If the enclosure of the GeoRide Adapter is damaged, or the insulation of the wires is damaged, disconnect the power supply cables from the power supply source.

— All wireless data transferring equipment produces interference that may affect other devices placed nearby.

— The GeoRide Adapter can be installed or dismounted only by qualified personnel!

— The GeoRide Adapter must be firmly fastened in a predefined location. The predefined location is described in the installation instructions.

— Make sure that the GeoRide Adapter is installed in a location where it will not be subjected to harsh environmental conditions for extended time periods.

— Any installation and/or handling during a lightning storm is prohibited.

— During the installation process, ensure the vehicle is powered off, and the key is removed before working on the battery to prevent any electrical hazards.

— Caution! If an incorrect type of battery is used for replacement, there is a high explosion risk. Dispose of used batteries according to the environmental requirements.

— Attention! Do not connect the wires marked red (power supply) and black (chassis) to the wrong battery poles. The GeoRide Adapter has reverse polarity protection, however, if connected incorrectly, it will not work.

— Always ensure proper connection of the terminals. Incorrect wiring can cause damage to the adapter or the vehicle.

— Avoid touching both battery terminals simultaneously to prevent short circuits, use insulated tools and consider wearing protective gloves when working with the battery.

— Disconnect the GeoRide Adapter from the vehicle's power supply before dismounting it.

— Do not disassemble the GeoRide Adapter without ensuring that the harness is not connected to an external power source.

— Install the GeoRide Adapter in a restricted access location, not accessible or visible to the driver.

— Waste equipment should not be disposed of with other household waste. The product must be taken to separate collection points at the product's end-of-life.
